3. India's crushing Antigua victory

A look at the key takeaways from India's innings victory over a lacklustre West Indies at North Sound, Antigua.

Dominant start for Kohli-Kumble partnership

Virat Kohli repeatedly emphasized on taking 20 wickets to win a Test match and took a bold decision to slot in five specialist bowlers in the line-up for the first Test. Four days later, Kohli, captaining in a full series outside Asia for the first time, has overseen India's biggest victory margin in terms of run away from home.

There is no doubt West Indies disappointed throughout the course of the match, but credit must be given where it is due. A returning Mohammed Shami reveled in the role of bowling spearhead while Kohli reminded everyone why he is the one of the top batsmen in the world with his maiden double-hundred. R Ashwin stole the show, first with the bat and then with the ball, to put to rest the debate of having an all-rounder in the XI to beef up the batting.
