38. Kapil Sharma asks Narendra Modi about ‘Acche Din’ but tweeple question him on the bribe he was asked to pay

On Friday morning, people on social media woke up to a trend that said ‘Kapil Sharma’. Turns out the popular comedian, in a series of tweets, had asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Yeh hain aapke achhe din ?” In a complaint addressed directly to PM Modi, he said he has paid Rs 15 crore as income tax in the last five years and still has to pay a bribe of Rs 5 lakhs to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for getting approval for an office.
In no time, his 6 million followers made sure his tweet went viral, making Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reply. Responding to the corruption charges alleged by Sharma, Fadnavis said, “Kapilbhai pls provide all info. Have directed MC,BMC to take strictest action. We will not spare the culprit.”
The BMC, the richest municipal corporation in the country which has faced corruption charges time and again, also responded to the complaint made by the comedian and asked him to take the formal route while naming the officer who demanded bribe.

But people on Twitter are asking the Sharma, why did he even agree to pay the bribe which is an offence in itself. “this should have been done before he paid the bribe. bribing a public servant is an offence,” said a user.

37. Process to Get and Activate Reliance Jio SIM Card

Reliance Jio's entry into the country's already crowded mobile operator market is expected to shake things up, and that's an understatement. With a claim to serve customers with only 4G technology, Reliance Jio tariffs and rollout plans were announced thursday by Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani at the company's AGM in Mumbai. He unveiled the company's highly-anticipated 4G service with a bouquet of offers and services.

The biggest highlight, which grabbed everyone's eyeballs during the launch, was Reliance Jio's 'free voice calls', even on roaming. Yes, you read that right. Mukesh Ambani revealed that there will be no charges while making calls anywhere in India, and the users will only pay for mobile data.

Breaking the silence over the Reliance Jio's tariff plans, Ambani said that the company's simple and clean tariff plans start from a pocket-friendly one-day Internet plan costing Rs. 19, which offers you unlimited calling (both voice and VoLTE, even on roaming) along with 100MB of usable data, plus SMS (up to a cap of 100 per day as per Trai's rule). You can learn about Reliance Jio's tariff plans in our detailed Reliance Jio Tariff Plans.

36. Reliance Jio MNP..! How to Port Your Number and Get Jio SIM Card

Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani dropped bomb at company's AGM on Thursday by announcing Reliance jio Plans with free voice calling for all Jio subscribers. Ambani said that the services will become available from Monday, September 5, absolutely free as part of the 'Jio welcome offer', so everyone can try Jio's services at no charge. This offer will be valid till December 31, after which the announced rates will be applied.
Free voice calling and lucrative data prices are sure to tempt many users to make the switch to Jio networks. Instead of getting a new number, you can opt for mobile number portability (MNP) to shift to the Reliance Jio network without changing your phone number. In July last year, DoT made it compulsary for telecom operators to roll out nationwide MNP allowing users to keep their phone number even if they switched carriers or locations. Because of nation-wide MNP, subscribers of Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, and other telcos can shift to Reliance Jio and avail the free Preview Offer till end of the year without changing their number.

Here's how you can use MNP to shift to Reliance Jio without changing your number:
First up, you need to send a text message to your current operator requesting for a port out. The message PORT should be sent to 1900. In return, you will receive a Unique Porting Code from 1901 with 15 days validity from your current carrier.
Head to any Reliance Mobile Store or retailer and fill up the Customer Application Form (CAF) where you'll also fill in the porting code. Submit the required documents (proof of address, proof of identity and photograph), and in return Reliance will issue a new Reliance Jio SIM card. Once activated, this SIM will use the same phone number you already had, and your old SIM will be deactivated.

The Reliance Jio SIM could take up to 7 days to activate, and a fee of Rs. 19 will be charged. During porting, your number might  be dead for about two hours (sometime between 10pm and 5am) before the new Reliance Jio SIM gets activated. Once your current SIM starts showing "No Service", it's likely time to put in your new Reliance Jio SIM.
Once ported, the Jio SIM should be activated, and remember you cannot use MNP to go back to your earlier operator or someone else for at least 90 days. In his AGM speech, Ambani requested all the other operators to not limit customers' right to migrate to Jio using MNP.

He also blamed the telcos of creating a poor experience for Jio customers. He said that in the last week alone Jio customers faced 5 crore call failures to other networks because of insufficient interconnect capacity provided by competitors. Ambani claimed that the telcos were giving the impression to Jio customers that voice calling wasn't working, when actually the telco operators were deliberately dropping calls.

35. Can you believe this letter without an address reached its destination? Here’s how

Iceland is famous for a lot of things – its picturesque locations, volcanoes, geysers, hot springs and lava fields. But you can add more to the list. It also has the world’s best postal service which doesn’t even require an address to deliver your letters. Yes, you heard that right! In what can be called one of kind incident, a tourist who had forgotten the address of his intended receipent drew a map of the location on the envelope and that was all it took for the postal service to deliver the letter, reports the West Iceland news service Skessuhornið.
The letter was posted in Reykjavík, the country’s capital and the largest city. The writer could not recall the address of the location so instead, he used his artistic creativity. He drew a map on the envelope leading to a farm in Hvammsveit, West Iceland, with a red dot marked on the destination. Besides the map, there were a few clues to help the postal services such as “Country: Iceland. City: Búðardalur. Name: A horse farm with an Icelandic/Danish couple and three kids and a lot of sheep!”
According to The Sun, Rebecca Cathrine Kaadu Ostenfeld in Iceland was the lucky recipient of the letter. The incident which took place a few months ago was brought back in the limelight when a reddit user posted a picture of the envelope. Since then picture has gone viral over the Internet. In the age of lightning-fast emails and instant messaging, it is really heart-warming to see a person making the effort to ensure that his letter was delivered despite not knowing the address.
